As I noted on the home page, in May of 2005 I was acclaimed as the Ottawa Algonquin Negotiation Representative (ANR) for the Ottawa area. I thank those of you who nominated me for this position.
Since May I have been involved in initial discussions with the other
individuals who make up the negotiation table (Ardoch, Antoine, Bancroft,
Bonnechere, Greater Golden Lake, Mattawa/North Bay, Sharbot Lake, and
Whitney), as well as Chief and Council from the Pikwakanagan Reserve. We
will post relevant negotiation documents and updated information in this
section as the negotiations progress.
